Rail Brushes

Rail brushes are mechanical cleaning systems that are permanently mounted to the crane travel mechanism and automatically sweep the runways clean during every movement of the crane. The brushes are available in various designs: from compact models with felt brushes for light contamination to robust variants with steel brushes for intensive cleaning. The systems are positioned directly in front of the running wheels so that the rails are continuously cleaned before the wheels run over them. Modern rail brushes are self-leveling and automatically adjust, allowing them to remain effective for long periods without regular adjustment.
